My Beauty Diary: Earl Grey Tea and Macaron Sheet Mask Review

I'm back again with another My Beauty Diary mask review~

And this time it's the Earl Grey Tea and Macaron Sheet Mask

Product Description:

My Beauty Diary Earl Grey Tea & Macaron Sheet Mask illuminates and clarifies the face in 20 minutes.
The combination of black tea ferment and bergamot essential oil gives a miraculously brightening effect. It brightens dull and yellowish skin tone, leaving skin briskly clear, fair and flawless.


Sweet almond protein and sugar cane extract are mixed to leave skin glittering and translucent, smooth and delicate. The fruit extracts of rosa canina, blueberry and acerola leave skin fair and perfectly clear, enhancing the skin’s translucency and ability to defend.

Suitable for normal skin, it is recommended for dull skin without lustre.

What I thought about this:

First of all, I bought this because it claims to have brightening property (as usual I loveeeee brightening mask) x). I find that this mask has a very nice scent, although I couldn't describe the scent but this doesn't have any weird or annoying scent at all.

After I put on this mask for about 30-40 minutes (although the description says 20 minutes  but I like to use it longer :p), honestly I didn't see any results at all -.-". I though I would be disappointed by this mask. But the next morning after I use this mask, I was surprised by how my acne scar has been faded. I do have a lot acne scar on my forehead and my chin, and surprisingly the acne scar on my chin almost disappeared!

Compared to MBD Hello Kitty edition mask, I do love Hello Kitty one more than this. But this is actually a very good products if you have a lot acne scar. It is just that I don't feel it brightens my face a lot.

I didn't experience any breakouts after using this, so I supposed this mask is safe for sensitive skin, which is good. :)

Rating: 4 star! (I would definitely give this 5 star if it brightens a little bit more :p)

Ok today I'm gonna review all these adorable Hello Kitty mask from My Beauty Diary~!

I have been a my beauty diary fan since 2 years ago because I love how thin their mask is and the result can been seen right after application. And my beauty diary has become my favorite mask of all time.

Of all My Beauty Diary mask that I've tried, These has become my Holy Grail mask~!

It comes in 2 flavor which is strawberry milk (left) and honey strawberry (right)

It comes with 3 different design of mask in 1 box. Adorable isn't it? x)

Anyway, the strawberry milk claims to brighten and moisturize the skin. And this is so true!

After I use this mask for around 30-40 minutes I can see that my complexion has been brighten up a bit and my skin felt plumped, which is good x). At first I thought "ok this is just the same with other mask that I've tried" But once again i was proven to be wrong :p. The next day, when I woke up, I was stunned by the brightening effect to my skin. My skin has brighten up A LOTTTT~!!! And it does gives a healthy glow to my skin, which I really adore..~~

Let's move on to honey strawberry~

Same with the strawberry milk, it also comes in 3 different adorable design.

This products claims for whitening and smoothening. And once again my beauty diary indeed never disappoint me :D. This product is crazily effective for my skin~!! After application my complexion was A LOTTTT brighter and whiter than usual. Well I know I already has a fair complexion but I do love to have a bit more fairer skin x). My skin also feels so soft after using this masks. And the great thing about this mask is that I realize that my acne scars has been faded a little bit after using this.

My conclusion is I highly recommend this to anyone who needs extra brightening and whitening. I do love both of these, but if I have to choose I would choose the honey strawberry. Why? Well I guess I really love the whitening effect if gives to my skin as well as to my acne scar. I do not experience any breakouts after using this, which is good, because I kinda have a quite sensitive skin so I get breakouts easily. So if you have sensitive skin, I will still recommend this to you. :)

Holika Holika Heartful Moisture Lipstick Review

Hi Hi~!! Today's review is about Holika Holika Heart Ful Moisture Lipstick CX

Ok ok I know I did too much of holika holika review recently -.-" But well I really really love Holika Holika products!! So I couldn't resist myself to keep doing review on Holika Holika products. Holika Holika has actually become my fav korean brands~! x)

I don't know if they already released this lipstick at Singapore Holika Holika, but I believe this lipstick was released on last year's december at Korea.

Compared to other lipstick, this lipstick is very very small. Below is the comparison between Heart Ful Lipstick and Holika Holika Volume Talk Lipstick (normal sized lisptick)

See how small is that?? :D But it is actually nice to have this small sized lipstick because it's very cute and practical x)~ I think this is the first heart shaped lipstick in the world xD

See? who can resist such a cute pastel liptickkkkkk x)

I got mine in shade BG401 (Baby Beige) and CR301 (Sweet Coral)

Baby Beige is a baby pink with beige undertone, so it is supposed to come out as a nude pink lipstick. Sweet Coral is just an bright orange coral. These are the swatches of both lipstick.

For the opinion, this lipstick is absolutely GREAT! The pigmentation is great and the color does come out very nice. On my lips it's very moisturizing, more moisturizing than the volume talk lipstick. For the lasting power, it does last for 3-4 hours (not including eating, only drinking).

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this lipstick very much and I regretted that I only bought 2 shades of these. I wish I had bought more :(. But anyway this has become my HG lipstick!

The Lipstick Case~

The first think in my head when I opened the box is THIS IS SOOOOOOO CUTEEEE!!!!! xD

The packaging is very witch~y and doesn't look cheap at all!

Mmmmm Sweet~!! PK118, OR208

Then the first thing I thought is "Ok I am a pro now! I do not need to see the real thing, just see the swatches on the website, can buy such a beautiful sweet color" Cx

Ok enough the joking :p. Moving on the product, PK118 is a very milky bright cherry pink, while OR208 is a coralish light orange. At first I thought PK118 would be too bright for my lips, since I have never liked wearing bright color lipstick. But once again I was proven wrong :p. Even though when I swatched it, it appears very bright and creamy, It actually appear a bit to the nudy side rather than bright side, which i like :). OR208 also appear quite nudish on my lips. But it might be cause by my pigmented lips. My lips is a quite reddish so I guess the lipstick color make my lip color looks a bit lighter (I guess?).

See? PK118 looks like it will appear very bright pink. Eventhough when I swatched it, the color appear very pigmented and creamy, but I found that on my lips, the color appear very sheer. I need to apply it around 3-4 times to get the color. For the lasting power, it last me a good 3-4 hours. So the lasting power for me is just so so.

These lipstick also claims to contains peptide derivative components and hydration essence to express plump and luminious lips. But for my lips which is very very dry (I almost cannot wear lipstick without lipbalm), I didn't feel that this lipstick is very moisturizing. I still need to use lipbalm before applying this lipstick. But the nice thing is, 1 minute after applying the lipstick, I can feel a very menthol feeling on my lips.

Overall, I think these lipstick are not a bad product but they are also not a very very great products for me. I think they are just a very decent lipstick. Honestly I do love the color very much and also the menthol feeling. But it's just that it is not pigmented enough for my lips, or I could say they are way to sheer for my liking. But I do highly recommend this to someone who has less pigmented lips and like sheer lipstick.

Etude House Face Color Corset Review

So this is what I'm gonna review today~

Left to Right #4 Pink Lady Fit, #3 Pink Girl Fit

First thing that I noticed from these blushes is the super duper cute prints!!! CX And also the packaging has improved a lot compared to their old blushes. Although they didn't come with a box, but the  plastic case itself is hard and more resistant to bumps. Anyway I'm very satisfied with the packaging because it is not as fragile as their old blushes. And of course they look more expensive now x).

Moving on to the quality of the blush, I do see a lot of improvements also. It is not as chalky as etude house old blush and it applies a lot smoother. These blush are extremely sheer, so you gotta swipe it a lot of times to get the color on the cheeks. The lasting power is just so-so, it last me 4-5 without budging. These are the swatches of the blushes.

up #3 Pink Girl Fit, below #4 Pink Lady Fit

See how sheer is that? Especially the #4 Pink Girl Fit. Trust me I have swiped the blush for around 4-5 times. So what I think about these blushes is these are not a bad products at all. The only problem of these blushes are they are wayyyyy too sheer! I am actually quite fair, and when I apply #3 Pink Girl Fit, it doesn't show up on my cheeks. So I guess I cannot use #3 Pink Girl Fit alone, but I'll try to layer it with other blushes.

The $4 Pink Lady Fit works well for me, although I need to swipe it around 3-4 times to get the color. But it does come out as a nice and sweet peachy orange. Overall I think they should work more on the pigmentation of these blushes. But I'm pretty satisfied though with the #4 Pink Lady Fit.

Holika Holika Midnight Owl

Hi readers!! I'm sorry it has been a week since the last I post something ^^ I have been very busy with my new online shop (which I will tell you later :p)~!

Anyway today's review gonna be Holika Holika Midnight Owl blush which I got from Korea last month. Don't be surprised by how cute this blush is~!

The purple and black packaging is indeed very Holika Holika especially with the owl :p. The case itself is actually very good quality. It's not made of some cheap plastic. Or I can say this product packaging looks more expensive than any etude house packaging. 

When you open it up.. ta-da~~

A cute pink little owl on a turquoise branch. This is extremely cute right!! When I first opened it I was like wowww!! x) Anyway I really love the design of the blushes and the color coordination is excellent as well.

Like other Asian or Korean blushes, this blushes is very shimmery. At first I thought this blush is gonna be too shimmery for my face so I didn't have so much expectation (well I bought it just because of the packaging and the design :p). But this time I was totally wrong! This blush works wonders for my cheeks!! I think this is one of the best blush that I've ever used before. It does looks shimmery on the pan but when I apply it on my cheeks it became a very beautiful glow which I adoreeeee very much!!!

This is the swatches if you mix all color together. It became a very soft baby pink with beautiful sheen in it. Who wouldn't love this blush??!! I think the only down side of this blush is only the texture is a bit powdery so it might get a little bit messy when you use your brush to pick up the color. But it doesn't matter for me because it's not chalky at all on my cheeks. This is the swatches of all the colors without mixing them together.

 Overall I think this blushes is gorgeous!! This blush has become my HG blush! If you like shimmery baby pink blushes then this is definitely for you~! I really think that Holika Holika products has impressed me a lot with their affordable price. I will definitely buy more Holika Holika stuff in the future x)
