Holika Holika: Aqua Petit Jelly Make Up Fixer Review

Hi do you know that make up fixer is one of the most important thing in make up? :D
If you're going to be out all day (12 hours+) or even go to parties and prom where you have to dance and sweat, you will definitely need make up fixer to make your make up lasts and prevent your foundation from melting and smearing.

So now I'm gonna review this Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly Make Up Fixer which I just bought recently.

At first I wasn't so sure about this make up fixer. I did bought this for review purpose because I find that there aren't a lot of beauty bloggers as well as youtubers talk about Holika Holika makeup. So just to help you guys if you're interested in Holika Holika makeup :p.

Although I bought this for a review purpose, I actually liked it after I tried!
Wow so unexpectedly!

Reading from the description, I think that this make up fixer was intended for dry skin people. Since I have a combination skin, I really really didn't thought I would like this.

I applied this all over my face after all my makeup is done and went out for wedding reception that day. I was using my Shu Uemura UV Under Base Mousse, MUFE HD Foundation, Urban Decay Razor Sharp Loose Powder, and lastly this Holika Holika Aqua Petit Jelly Make Up Fixer.

It did a great job in moisturize my cheeks area which is very dry.
My T-zone area would normally get oily after 3-4 hours but after using this make up fixer I find that my t-zone was slightly oily after 6-7 hours.

I think the best thing about this is that I did make my face feels bouncier! :D

I think that this make up fixer did a great job for the lasting power. Although it was intended for dry skin but I didn't feel like my face become super oily after spraying this into my face. It might not work very well for oily skin though. So if you have a dry/combination skin, I definitely recommend this for you. It really did a great job for the price I paid.

Holika Holika: Luminous Silk SPF 42 PA+++ BB Cream Review

Annyeong! I'm back with my all time favorite Holika Holika products! :D
If you've following my blog, then you must've known how much I adore Holika Holika.
So today I'm gonna review this Luminous Silk SPF 42 PA+++ BB Cream that I recently bought.

The box is printed with lace prints which is very delicate and beautiful :D

It comes with a pump! Yeay! xD

I really really adore the packaging. I think that this is the cutest and the most beautiful BB Cream I've ever bought. There is this lace print on the BB Cream as well that makes the BB Cream looks more expensive and beautiful. But 1 thing that I don't really like about this is the pump. Sometimes I do find that the BB Cream is stuck in the pump so it takes quite a few pumps to get the product out of the bottle.

So moving on to the product itself, I got mine in 01 light beige. This BB Cream claims to have UV protection, whitening, and anti aging. It offers a dewy finish on the skin, which I didn't really like at first. I think that I'm a very matte kind of person (if you know what I mean :p). But after I tried this BB Cream, all my negative thoughts of dewy base makeup has changed since.

I really really adore this BB Cream. I think that this is the best dewy finish BB Cream as well as base makeup I've ever tried before. It has medium coverage in my opinion which is quite surprising because at first I thought it will be a light coverage BB cream, so it kinda covers up my dark circle as well as my acne scars very well (although sometimes I need extra concealer to cover up my heavier scar). The consistency and texture, I find it quite thick but a little goes a long way~~ so don't worry ;)

The dewy finish of this BB Cream is definitely worth to be liked. It is sooooo beautiful, it gives a healthy glow to my face, and it brightens up my complexion a lot without looking like a dead man. It doesn't contains any shimmer that makes your face looks like a disco ball.

I think the only thing that I don't like about this BB Cream is that the oil control is not so good, so if you are an oily skin person, you might not want to try this. I have a combination skin where I got oily on my forehead down to my chin. I do get oily on my T Zone after 4 hours of application. So if you have a combination skin like me you still can use this BB Cream but you've gotta bring your blotting paper along :p. I think that this will be very great for a dry skin people since it moisturize my face very well.

These are the swatches of the Luminous Silk BB Cream

left: without the BB Cream, right: with the Luminous Silk BB Cream.
I wish you can see the very nice glow on my skin after applying the Luminous Silk BB Cream.

1 more thing about this BB cream is it contains a very strong fragrance. So if you are allergic to any fragrance, you've gotta stay away from this. For me, I cannot say that I like the fragrance but I'm just okay with it since I'm not allergic to it.

Anyway I really adore this BB cream especially finish. I just wish that the oil control can be a lot better.

Recommended: Yes to dry skin people ;)

A Little bit of Haul: June HUGE Haul~!!

Hi sweet cupcakes! I'm sorry for not posting anything for sooooooooooooo long > <
I have been away for a few days for my trip to Singapore.
So in return I did bought a LOT of things from Singapore as well as from Korea.

I'm gonna show you all the stuff that I bought from Korea first~
ta-da~

I got some Nature Republic products this month. I actually haven't really tried this brand yet but I'm really looking forward to try all these stuff.

These are the list of all the items I bought from Korea:
1. Nature Republic Ice Jelly Primer SPF 28 PA++ in Cherry
2. Nature Republic Shine Blossom Rose Blusher in #01 Baby Rose
3. Nature Republic Stain Girl's Tint in #01 Girl's Red
4. Etude House Tear Drop Liner in White Pearl
5. Missha Professional Rounding Angle Foundation Brush
6. Holika Holika Luminous Silk SPF 42 PA+++ in #01 Light Beige

Moving on to the products that I bought in Singapore. When I was in Plaza Singapura waiting for my friend, I came across to this "angmoh" counter called Vardi & Migdal. The sell products from Israel and claimed to have the dead sea extract in their products. The SA there was quite pushy so I end up buying quite a lot of stuff back home.

Inside the White Flower Professional Nail Kit:

Beside Vardi & Migdal products, They also sell Amore Mio Cosmetics and Orogold Cosmetics which both was famous for their 24k Gold cosmetics. Both is considered as luxury cosmetics, considering the price range is around 100-400 S$+.

So from Amore Mio Cosmetics I got their famous 24k Gold Foundation. The SA applied this foundation on my face and it REALLY feels like NOTHING!! I think this the first product that actually feels like nothing on my skin. So of course I immediately fell in love with this 24k Gold Foundation. The SA also applied the most famous Orogold 24k Deep Peeling. She applied it on the half of my face and she did let me see the before and after effect. My face did become a lot clearer and my discoloration seems to be more even after she applied the peeling gel. And the most amazing thing is that my face became A LOT smoother afterwards.

I did get all these stuff for 310S$. I actually only bought the 24k Gold Peeling (200S$) and the Amore Mio 24k Gold Foundation (100S$), but the "angmoh" which is their supervisor gave me all these bonus which is a very good deal for me. He let me top up for another 10S$ and get the White Flower Spa Salt Scrub for only 10 dollar. Anyway very impressed with all the products and their services also.

The other thing that I got from Sephora is the most famous Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette! Yay!
I have been wanting this for sooooooooooooooo long

And the last thing is this Shiseido special set. I'm planning to sell out this set though. So do visit my online store (House of Younique)

Thanks for reading this long blog post. I hope you enjoy the rest of your week!
Bye~ ;)

Holika Holika: Jewel-Light Waterproof Eyeliner Review

Hello pretty girls~!! :D
I'm sorry for not posting any review for weeks > <
I'm very busy these days because I'm going to start my own clothing line soon. So stay tuned if you want to know more about it ;)~

Anyway today I'm gonna review Holika Holika Jewel Light Waterproof Eyeliner Pencil which I purchased last month. I've been wearing these eyeliner a couple of times and I think I should let you all know how I feel about these babies~

Descriptions: Holika Holika Jewel-Light Waterproof Eyeliner is a long lasting waterproof eyeliner that stays on your eyes without smudging through sweat or sebum. Starting from the inside corner, fill in between lashes. To use as an eye shadow, draw a thick line then blend the line into the lid.

This eyeliner is available in 8 colors but I only got 3 of them.
As you can see there I got mine in color #06 Olive Peridote, #07 One Carat Diamond and #08 Pink Topaz.
All colors are sparkly and shimmery x)

These are the swatches of each color~

From left to right (#06, #07, #08)

#06 Olive Peridote is just a very dark brown (nearly black) with gold fine shimmer in it. #07 is just a shimmery white color which is good to highlight inner corners and water line. And lastly #08 is a sweet pink peachy kind of eyeliner which is also good for highlighting inner corners as well as water line.

I only do 1 swipe for each swatches, so you can see that all the colors are extremely pigmented and creamy. The texture itself is very soft and subtle. The shimmery inside gives a very beautiful glow to each eyeliner without looking over shiny.

I've worn these eyeliner for around 5 hours and honestly it doesn't smudge at all and stays on all day. So thumbs up for the long lasting. Unlike other eyeliner which doesn't glides smoothly on eyelids, these eyeliner does glides like dream~ so smooth and soft x)

I think the only thing that people won't like about these eyeliner is that it does takes a few minutes for the eyeliner to set so you've gotta keep your fingers away from your eyelid right after applying these babies.

I tried to rub it with my fingers right after I apply it, and it became like this..

Actually I couldn't say that this is a down side because it's kinda helpful when I'm doing a smokey eyes look. I can just smudge the colors out without having to put another layer of eyeshadow to give a very smokey look.

And last thing these eyeliner is indeed water proof. I tried to pour out some water to these swatches and it doesn't budge at all, which is a very very good thing.

Overall I really really LOVE these eyeliner. I think these eyeliner might be one of the best eyeliner pencil I've ever tried. The price itself is extremely affordable and for the quality of the eyeliner I think it's really worthed. I'm thinking of getting more colors perhaps the black and navy blue~  :p

Holika Holika: Merry Holika All Over Face Review~

Hi girls~!! Guess what I brought to you guys today?~
Another Holika Holika products~!! Yay~!!
Well I guess I should apologize for being a crazy fan of holika holika products ;)
I just couldn't help but keep falling in love with their products because of the extremely adorable packaging and the high quality of the products.

Anyway today's product is gonna be the Merry Holika All Over Face~

As usual it comes with a purple witch-y kind of packaging which I really adoreeee~
It also comes with a small brush which is quite soft but 1 thing I don't like from the packaging is I couldn't put the brush inside the blush case, so sometimes it's kinda troublesome to store it separately.

Isn't it cute?? I just really love the cat and all the color mixed up together. It does creates a very fantasy and cute feeling. For the color itself I couldn't deny that I really love it, well you know I really love pastel yet natural. For the texture and pigmentation, it is exactly the same with Holika Holika Midnight Owl Blusher. It contains a lot of shimmer and a bit powdery also. But It doesn't really bother me honestly.

Same  with the holika holika midnight owl blusher, it really gives me a very beautiful glow when I apply it on my cheeks, which I really love. I guess the glow comes from the shimmer in the blush :p.

For the lasting powder, it does last me a good 5-6 hours without touching up.
These are the swatches of the blush

I'm sorry  if you couldn't really see the color because it is very sheer even more sheer than the midnight owl one. Anyway if you love sheer and shimmering blush you will definitely loveeee this. I really love this products, and I think this is also one of the best blush I ever owned.

Holika Holika Lipgloss Review

Hi pretty girls~! Guess what! Another Holika Holika products >___<~!!

Ok ok I know I'm crazy about Holika Holika -.-"

Anyway today I've brought you all these 2 cute and adorable lipglosses by Holika Holika
ta-da~!

The left one is called Aqua Muse Watery Lipgloss and the right one is Volume Talk Lipgloss (if I'm not wrong -.-"). I tried so hard to read the korean words on the sticker under the lipgloss.

The colors I have is Aqua Muse Watery Lipgloss 403 and Volume Talk Lipgloss 206.

Aqua Muse Watery Lipgloss 403 is a sweet orange peachy kind of color, and Volume Talk Lipgloss 206 is just a very sheer and nudy pink kind of color.

This is the top cap of  the Volume Talk Lipgloss which I think very withc~y and whimsical x)

And these are the swatches of both lipgloss :)

What I though about these lipglosses:
I do love both color and I really love the packaging also x). The colors does show up same as what you see inside the tube. These lipgloss are more into the sheer type.

For Aqua Muse Watery Lipgloss, I love how watery and moisturizing it is to my lips. The color is not like super pigmented but I do like the pigmentation of the lipgloss. It is not as sticky as other lipgloss which I think is good. The staying power is not so amazing though, but I do not mind since all lipgloss need to be touch up after a few hours. Overall I really love this lipgloss because of the pigmentation and color x).

Moving on to the Volume Talk Lipgloss, I do find it very sticky compared to the Aqua Muse Watery Lipgloss. I usually apply lipglosses after putting on lipbalm and lipstick. And I feels that this lipgloss kinda wash off my lipstick color. I don't know why but everytime I apply this lipgloss my lipstick color would be like 40% gone! The staying power is not so good also :(. Overall I couldn't really like this lipgloss. This is not a super bad product but I feels that I won't use it as much as the aqua muse watery.

If I was asked which one do I prefer from these 2, I will definitely pick up Aqua Muse Watery Lipgloss. But I honestly really love the volume talk lipgloss packaging~ x)

Holika Holika: Magic Palette Painting Blusher Review

Hi! Today I've brought another Holika Holika products review~~ (I guess I can become Holika Holika's ambassador now :p)

Anyway today I'm gonna review Magic Palette Painting Blusher

I really love the witch on the right bottom of the box x)
So adorable~

When you open the box ta-da~

This cute palette consist of 3 cream blushes (Berry Pink, Baby Pink, and Soft Peach). The case itself is made of tin.

These are the swatches of all blush~

At the left is the cream blush itself, and at the right is after I blend it with finger. See how cute and pastel like all the colors are?

I did purchased this blush after reading a review saying that you can mix and match all the blushes, in other words you can create your own blushes according to your taste x). Honestly I've never seen anything like this before so I thought this could be very interesting. And believe me I was right! x) First of all, I love the pigmentation of the blush. Although I'm not a big fan of cream blushes because sometimes they do feel sticky, but trust me, these blushes are not sticky at all. I really love all the colors because as usual I love pastel-like colors xD.

The only downside of this products is that it doesn't stay for so long by itself on my cheeks. I think these only last for around 3-4 hours on my cheeks. Please note that I do not have oily cheeks. So if you have oily skin, I suggest you to prime your face before putting on these blushes. The other way is to layer on another blush/highlighters to set the cream blush.

These are the swatches of  the mixed blushes that I created.

Oh! 1 more positive thing about these cream blush. It is definitely waterproof! ;)
These are the swatches of the blush after I wash it with warm water.

Overall, I do really love this products for it's color, quality, and of course packaging x). Although I couldn't really recommend this to anyone who has extremely oily skin but I highly recommend this to those who have dry-normal skin x)
